These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding contract between the client ("Client," "you," or "your") and UFORIA Studios ("Studio," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing our website, confirming a booking proposal, signing a service contract, or remitting a deposit payment, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined herein. Specific deliverables, project milestones, and pricing will be set forth in an accompanying Project Scope or Invoice.
To guarantee studio dates, production crews, and dedicated equipment for your project, the following payment policies apply:
- Retainer Deposit: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking confirmation to lock your designated calendar date and time.
- Balance Settlement: The remaining 50% balance is due on or before the final production day, prior to the release of high-resolution digital master files.
- Additional Expenses: Travel, specialty permits, location rental fees, or third-party talent costs will be invoiced and itemized transparently.
We understand creative schedules can shift. Our rescheduling guidelines ensure fairness to both clients and our production crew:
- Advance Notice: Rescheduling requests made at least 7 business days prior to the shoot date may transfer the retainer to a mutually agreed future date within 6 months.
- Short-Notice Cancellation: Cancellations made within 48 hours of call-time forfeit the retainer deposit to compensate for reserved crew and equipment hold times.
- Weather Contingencies: For outdoor shoots across Grand Cayman affected by tropical rain or high winds, UFORIA will reschedule at no penalty to the earliest available date.
Every production package includes professional post-production color grading, editing, and sound design according to UFORIA's signature cinematic standards:
- Proof Review: Clients will receive private digital proof links within 5–7 business days following the shoot.
- Standard Revisions: All packages include up to two (2) complimentary rounds of minor editorial adjustments. Extensive structural re-edits will be quoted separately.
- RAW Footage Policy: Unedited RAW video footage or uncompressed photo negatives are not included in standard packages but may be licensed under a separate buyout agreement.
In accordance with international copyright treaties and Cayman Islands intellectual property statutes:
UFORIA Studios retains moral and statutory copyright in all original photographic and cinematographic works created. Clients receive a perpetual, non-exclusive commercial license upon full invoice settlement.
- Commercial License: Grants worldwide rights to publish, broadcast, distribute, and display final deliverables across client websites, digital ads, and social media.
- Third-Party Resale: Deliverables may not be sub-licensed or resold to third parties without prior written consent from UFORIA Studios.
The Client is responsible for securing necessary location access permissions, private property authorizations, and internal model/talent releases for participants appearing in the production.
In the unlikely event of severe technical equipment malfunction, catastrophic data storage failure, natural disaster (e.g., hurricane), or personal injury preventing production execution, UFORIA's total liability is strictly limited to the return of all monies paid by the client for the unfulfilled portion of the project.
This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Cayman Islands. Any disputes arising under this contract shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Cayman Islands.
